Air France KLM Vietnam
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has been a pioneer in the airline industry and was founded in October 1919, it is the oldest airline to still be operating under its original name. KLM aims to be the most customer-focused, innovative and efficient airline in Europe, offering reliable service and top-quality products.
Since the merger in 2004, KLM has been part of the Air France-KLM group. This merger gave rise to one of Europe’s leading airline groups, with two strong brands operating out of two major hubs: Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Paris Charles de Gaulle. The group focuses on three key activities: passenger and cargo transport, and aircraft maintenance. Together, the two airlines carry almost 100 million passengers a year.
In 2018, it offers its customers access to a network covering 314 destinations in 116 countries thanks to its five brands Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Joon, Transavia, and HOP! Air France. Air France-KLM is a member of the global SkyTeam Alliance, which has 20 member airlines and a joint network of 1074destinations in 177 countries.
Its Flying Blue frequent flyer programme is one of the leaders in Europe with over 15 million members. From Ho-Chi Minh City and Hanoi, KLM offers daily flights to Amsterdam-Schiphol Airport via Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore in partnership with interline or code-share partners.
Air France operates three weekly direct flights between Ho Chi Minh City and its hub Paris-Charles de Gaulle. It also has a daily code-share flight between Hanoi and Paris-Charles de Gaulle in partnership with Vietnam Airlines.
