HCMC resumes on-site dining

HCMC will allow restaurants and coffee shops to resume on-site dining Thursday, Oct 28 after five months of restrictions. All facilities must close before 9 p.m. and only serve 50 percent of their normal customer capacity.

District 7 and Thu Duc City can serve alcohol in regular restaurants under a pilot scheme until Nov. 15. Authorities of the two districts will decide the areas for implementing the scheme

HCMC is at Epidemic Level 2; Binh Tan District is still Orange

Ho Chi Minh City has announced the results of the assessment of the epidemic level according to Resolution 128 of the Government and Decision No. 4800 of the Ministry of Health.

As of October 24, Ho Chi Minh City is at Level 2. There are 9 Level-1 localities (Green zone), 12 Level-2 localities (Yellow zone), and 1 level 3 locality (Orange zone) among 22 localities (district level and Thu Duc city). The detailed report can be found below.

The whole country assessed the Epidemic Level, 26 green provinces; no orange/red province

As of October 21, all 63/63 provinces and cities across the country had completed the assessment of the Epidemic Level, with 26 provinces achieving the Green level (the new normal level),  37 provinces reaching the Yellow Level (medium risk), and there is no Orange and Red Level (High and Very High risk).

Flight schedules

AirFrance schedule Oct 2021 to Mar 2022 (Update Sep 22)

In view of the situation in Vietnam, in particular the prolongation of border closures, Air France still maintain the principle of a monthly flight from/to Ho Chi Minh City.

The flight AF258 to Ho Chi Minh City is still handled as a “repatriation” flight while the flight AF253 to Paris is a commercial flight.

From Vietnam, Air France continues to offer a routing from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Amsterdam via Singapore on the daily SIN-AMS flight operated by KLM.

For the remaining part of the Summer 2021 schedule (until the end of October 2021) and for the Winter 2021 schedule (from November 2021 to March 2022), Air France will continue to adjust the capacity to/from Vietnam with flights on selected dates. This flight schedule is subject to change without prior notice.

Qatar Airways - Latest updates No. 13 (Oct 25, 2021)

Qatar Airways is pleased to announce the adjusted timing for our flights to/from Ho Chi Minh City from 01 November 2021 – 26 March 2022* as this new updated schedule. Their schedule to/from Hanoi remains as our update No. 11/2021 until 26 March 2022 as previously announced.
With their updated schedule for both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi until March 2022, you can now start planning for your trip and got covered with their
Guaranteed flexibility policy.

*Important notes:

  • Qatar planned schedule from now – 31 October 2021 will remain as the previous update No. 10/2021.
  • Subject to the approval by the local authority. Flight schedule is subject to change without prior notice.
  • For inbound flight: Currently, we continue to have specific flights weekly for passengers planning to travel back to and Ho Chi Minh City. Please contact our team if you have any requests or click here to find out more.
