Marketing & Events Intern

The Dutch Business Association in Vietnam (DBAV) was officially established in 1999. Our mission is to build the bridge between The Netherlands and Vietnam. We are the gateway for businesses and business leaders to make meaningful connections, share valuable knowledge and experiences, and drive bilateral trade and investment.
We are seeking a full-time intern to work directly with the Executive team in business development, communications and event management, and market research. Under general supervision, the intern will be responsible for providing clerical support and assisting in all functions related to the below.
Marketing & Events intern
• Number of interns: 01
• Type of internship: Full-time, 3 to 6-month term, temporary
• Working location: Ho Chi Minh City
• Start date: as soon as possible (June 2025)
• Working hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Evening and weekend hours may be required.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Support the Event & Communications Manager in organizing the events & marketing tasks following DBAV’s Event calendar, and assist the team onsite during the events
- Assist with all event set-up, logistics, tear-down, and follow-up processes
- Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order
- Facilitate guest registration at events; manage related data entry, pre- and post-event analysis
- Update regular communication and content on DBAV’s website and other communication channels
- Maintain and update the marketing tasks to support the event's objectives
- Any other supportive tasks as requested by the management
Skills and Specifications
- Fresh graduate or currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields;
- Affinity with Communications, Marketing, PR, and International Relations;
- Strong organization and computer skills;
- Flexible work attitude;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, work independently and as part of a team;
- Eyes for details;
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Vietnamese;
- Ability to use design tools is a plus (Canva, AI platforms, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign, etc);
- Interest and experience in event organization, marketing & communications.
