DBAV/NVCC board members meet Dutch Ambassador Designate in The Hague

On 7 June, Members of the boards of the DBAV and the NVCC as well as Executive Director Guido van Rooy had the opportunity to meet Mr Kees van Baar, the next Ambassador of the Netherlands to Vietnam. The meeting was held at the offices of NL in Business in the Malietoren in The Hague.

At present, Mr Van Baar is the Netherlands Representative to the Palestine Territories. He will take up his new role in Hanoi in September. 

“The country was my first choice of possible new postings”

When asked, Mr van Baar mentioned he is eager to start in Vietnam. “The country was my first choice of possible new postings” he said. He looks especially forward to promote the bilateral trade between the Netherlands and the fast growing Vietnamese economy.
