Dutch CEO's Engage in Coffee Dialogue with Prime Minister Rutte during High-Tech Mission to Vietnam
In a remarkable collaboration between Dutch and Vietnamese business leaders, 25 CEOs from the Netherlands had an exclusive coffee meeting with Prime Minister Mark Rutte during a high-tech and semiconductor mission to Vietnam. Facilitated by the Embassy, this gathering provided a unique opportunity for direct interaction between the Prime Minister and industry captains.
Prime Minister Rutte demonstrated his commitment to engagement by rotating among different coffee tables, engaging in insightful discussions with each CEO present. The exchange of ideas and perspectives during these one-on-one interactions proved invaluable
These candid conversations weren't just a coffee break; they served as a foundation for Prime Minister Rutte's subsequent discussions with his Vietnamese counterpart, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. The insights gleaned from Dutch CEOs played a pivotal role in shaping diplomatic and business conversations between the two nations.
Later in the day, the collaborative spirit continued as Prime Minister Rutte witnessed the handover of the Orange Business Book from the Dutch Business Association Vietnam (DBAV), represented by Chairman Alexander Koch. The symbolic gesture, received by the Minister of Planning and Investment and his Vietnamese counterpart, highlighted the strong ties between Dutch businesses and the Vietnamese government.
Heartfelt thanks go to the Embassy for orchestrating this meaningful engagement, extending invitations to CEOs, with special mention to those from the Dutch Business Association Vietnam. Gratitude is also extended to Xoai Du, the coffee company that played a pivotal role in creating an environment conducive to fruitful discussions. This collaborative effort reflects the strength of international partnerships and the shared commitment to fostering business and diplomatic ties between the Netherlands and Vietnam.
