Saigon Baigur Gin Marks Its 5-Year Milestone with New Distillery in Ho Chi Minh City

The District 9 Distilling Company, known for its SàiGòn Baigur Gin, proudly announces the relocation of its production facilities to a new, state-of-the-art distillery in Ho Chi Minh City. This move marks the company's fifth year in business and comes amid continued growth in both domestic and international markets.
Since 2020, Saigon Baigur has become known for distilling the rich essence of Vietnam. Drawing inspiration from expeditions across the country, from northern mountains to the Mekong Delta, the team has crafted a unique gin using native botanicals such as Buddha’s Hand, Lotus Flower, and Black Cardamom.
Beyond its success in Vietnam, Saigon Baigur has established a strong international distribution network. Today, its “Made in Vietnam” spirits are available in over 50 countries worldwide. The brand has garnered praise from culinary experts and craft spirit enthusiasts alike, helping to promote an image of Vietnam as both innovative and deeply rooted in identity.
The new distillery boasts increased production capacity, streamlined workflows, and upgraded infrastructure to ensure consistent quality. The expanded space also enables Saigon Baigur to experiment with new botanicals and flavor profiles, while staying true to its spirit of exploration. Guided tours will give guests a behind-the-scenes look at craft distillation and the cultural stories behind the ingredients.
"Our journey began with a passion for Vietnam’s landscapes, botanicals, and flavors, and this new distillery reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation, quality, and adventure. We are excited to share what’s next with our fans worldwide." - Founder Jochem Lisser shared
