Virtual Trade Mission from the Netherlands to Haiphong

On Thursday, 16 September 2021, DBAV collaborated with the Department of Science and Technology of Hai Phong and PUM Netherlands Senior Experts organized the Trade mission from the Netherlands to Vietnam in the form of a hybrid event – offline in Hai Phong City and live broadcasted on Youtube channel and Zoom online meeting platforms.
The event was honored to welcome the presence of Dr. Tran Quang Tuan – Director of Department of Science and Technology of Hai Phong, Ms. Elsbeth Akkerman – Netherlands Ambassador in Vietnam, Mr. Jacco Vonhof – chairman of The Royal Association MKB-Nederland, and the representatives of associations and enterprises of Netherlands and Vietnam.
66 offline or online business matching sessions
There were 66 matching sessions in the form of 1:1 between 14 Dutch enterprises in various sectors such as technology, agriculture, renewable energy, finding subcontractors in Vietnam, and representatives of 50 enterprises in Hai Phong City and other cities/provinces. The Organization Committee continued to support one-to-one linkage, creating favorable conditions for enterprises of the two countries to discuss, negotiate and sign contracts; as well as supporting legal documents after the online business matchmaking.
